Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) – Salisbury, Princess Anne, Pocomoke, and Berlin MD locations

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) is responsible for providing professional therapy to patients and families including direct therapeutic services, crisis intervention, and coordination of community services/resources. Performance of duties may be autonomous and self-directed as part of an interdisciplinary team. This position reports to the Department Head of Mental Health.

This is a Monday through Friday position working 40 hours per week. Full benefit package.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Conducts comprehensive, culturally sensitive psychosocial assessments, develops care plans, and provides therapy and crisis intervention services to patients and families.
  • Participates in team meetings and participates in Peer Review, continually improving care based on results.
  • Develops, implements, updates and/or monitors treatment plans for own caseload.
  • Assists in maintaining patient pre-authorizations, completing treatment plans in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for accurate, timely communication with the support staff and other clinical staff to maintain high quality services, accurate schedules and clinical records.
  • Participates with office on-call schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate of an approved Master’s program in social work and successful completion of internship.
  • Licensed in the State of Maryland as an LCSW-C.

Experience

  • 3 or more years experience in health care setting

Performance of duties may be autonomous and self-directed as part of an interdisciplinary team. This position reports to the Department Head of Mental Health. Pediatric Dentist

The Attending Pediatric Dentist provides dental care services to pediatric patients, as well as consultation services on matters appropriate to the practice of Dentistry to other members of the health care staff. They supervise and assist the pediatric residents.  This position reports to the Chief Pediatric Dentist. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday. Essential Job Functions of this position include but not limited to:

  • Oversee and assist the pediatric residents ensuring they are providing appropriate care to pediatric patients.
  • Diagnose and treat any disease, injury, malocclusion, or malposition of a tooth, gum, jaw, or structure associated with the head and neck as appropriate.
  • Provide oral health education to patients and families.
  • Establish rapport and identify patients’ chief complaints, general needs and expectations.
  • Knowledge to provide preventive, therapeutic and educational methods for controlling oral disease as an aid to patients.
  • Anticipate, diagnose, and provide treatment and follow-up management for dental treatment.
  • Practice within the scope of one’s competence and make referrals to professional colleagues as appropriate.
  • Select, obtain, and interpret clinical, radiographic, and other diagnostic information and procedures.

Qualifications

 Education

  • Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry
  • Current State of Maryland license, CDS, and DEA
