Welcome to CenteringPregnancy®, an innovative approach to prenatal care at Chesapeake Health Care’s OB/GYN office in Salisbury, Maryland.

What is CenteringPregnancy®?

CenteringPregnancy® transforms traditional prenatal care into an engaging group experience. Expecting moms, partners, and support people with similar due dates come together in a comfortable and supportive group setting. Facilitated by a Physician or a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), these sessions foster a sense of community, allowing participants to share experiences and build lasting connections.

What to Expect:

  • Group Setting: Say goodbye to traditional exam rooms. Our two-hour sessions, led by a dedicated Physician or CNM, create a relaxed and supportive environment.
  • Engaged Care: Moms actively participate in their healthcare by monitoring weight and blood pressure, recording health data, and enjoying private belly check time with their provider.
  • Open Discussions: Providers and support staff lead interactive discussions on relevant health topics. This not only enhances knowledge but also builds a strong support network among participants.
