Why Get the Flu Vaccine?

Getting a yearly flu shot is the best way to prevent the flu and reduce the risk of serious complications. The vaccine helps protect not only you but also your family, coworkers, and community by reducing the spread of the virus.

  • Young children

  • Adults 65 and older

  • Pregnant women

  • People with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease

Protect Yourself and Your Community

The flu vaccine can:

  • Reduce missed work or school days

  • Protect vulnerable populations who are at higher risk of complications
